The VT-RC-74DE is a compact receiving system combines two (or optionally up to four) high performance RF multiple band digital receivers, a post detect diversity combiner, digital bit sync and optional frequency analyzer with full oscilloscope and EYE pattern display in a single 4U height 19 inch rack mountable chassis.
The VT-RC-74DE high performance multi band receiver system offers a no compromise, high density telemetry and data reception solution. With integrated post detect combiner per channel and integrated digital bit syncs the VT-RC-74DE replaces multiple units in a traditional ground station.
A full Ethernet based remote control interface is supplied as standard and optionally the recovered data may be broadcast over the network in various formats, including IRIG 106 Chapter 10.
This easy to use full function graphical software interface on the large front panel full color touch screen controls all aspects of the receiver system offering full stand alone operation.
The VT-RC-74DE receiver system has a very wide bandwidth of more than 30 MHz per channel over the range 70MHz to 6GHz and an ultra low total noise figure of better than 4dB.
This fully digital direct conversion receiver provides dual channel trellis based bit synchronization functionality for TIER0, TIER1 and optional TIER2 reception with improved data reception performance over traditional reception systems of anywhere from 6dB to 12dB.
Uniquely the VT-RC-74DE digital receiver can also supply analog data reception outputs suitable for legacy operation, such as analog Video reception, and improved performance AM down to below –125dBm for use with Auto Tracking antenna systems.
